New York City Entrepreneur Week

I have a hell of a busy schedule in April, but New York City Entrepreneur Week is coming soon, and I can’t resist to attend some of the sessions.

There’s a huge list of great speakers at the event.

If you will be in New York City between April 20th and 24th, you shouldn’t miss this event. I will update my post with which sessions I’ll be attending after registering.

Leave a comment if you will be at the event. I will be happy to meet and network.

Why You Fail To Make Money Online

Yet, another year has passed by. You have set so many goals for 2008. How many of them did you really achieve?

Before continuing to read this post, please take a couple of minutes and write down the goals you’ve set for the last year, and check each goal you’ve succeeded in.

If you have achieved all of your goals for 2008, then you don’t have to read the rest of this post. But if you haven’t achieved all of the goals you have set for 2008 and if you’ve started to come up with excuses in your mind, then keep reading.

EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES

People always have and will always have excuses for their failures. Didn’t we start making up excuses for our failures since we were kids?

Here’s a 1 hour great presentation by the founder of HubSpot.com, Dharmesh Shah.

Even though he claims he’s not good at presentations, this is one of the great presentations I’ve watched recently.

If you are interested in starting a software company, this is a MUST to watch video for you. Remember to checkout Dharmesh’s blog OnStartups also.

Startup Junkies

I am a huge fan of real life entrepreneur success stories.  I have watched a few movies and reality shows about startup internet companies.

While I was surfing on Hulu last week, I have found a reality show called Start-up Junkies.  It has 8 episodes, each around 25 minutes.  I have watched it all on the same night.  It is the story of a startup company called Earth Class Mail.

Even though I’m not an expert on video production, this is the best startup reality show production wise I’ve ever watched.  It doesn’t get too much into details, but you will have a clear idea of starting a brand new technology company from funding to management.

Post image for I am here to succeed

If you repeat “I am here to succeed” 40 times, I will guarantee that you will SUCCEED. Ok, probably not :)

If you are looking for a “make quick money online” blog, or a “I work in my pj’s, and if you want to do that, buy my ebook” blog, or an “I’m the suber, uber, zuper online marketer” type of blog, this is not the right place.

I’m smart, I make money both online and offline, and I’ll try to share my experiences here.

If you want to follow my tips, and make a good living, you have to say “I am here to SUCCEED” and start believing in it.

About me?  I’m just an entrepreneur living in the big apple.

I love to receive comments to my posts.  So feel free to write anything.  Want a new topic? tell me in the comments, I’ll be happy to write.  Just wanna share your experiences, add it to the comments.

So, stay around, we will have so much fun :)
