This is my personal blog. My current readers know that I write on any topic I like.

Lately, I have been focused mostly on affiliate marketing, and I’m pretty excited about it. I want to share more about affiliate marketing and that’s the only reason I’m changing the focus of this blog from broader marketing, ebiz & personal topics to narrower affiliate marketing. I will keep writing personal stuff once in a while though.

Since I’ve written a few posts related to affiliate marketing, I have received numerous emails asking questions and more information about affiliate marketing.

This is one of the reasons why Kirtok.com’s new name is; Internet Marketing with Kirtok.

I wasn’t sure about changing the name to “Affiliate Marketing with Kirtok” or “Internet Marketing with Kirtok”, and I’ve decided to use the “Internet Marketing with Kirtok”.

To be able to run a successful affiliate marketing business, you need to be good at several fields in internet marketing. So whether it is affiliate marketing, email marketing or SEO, I will be blogging about anything related to internet marketing.

Hope, Change, and “YES WE CAN”

Obama is the new president as we all know. This is a special moment in the history of the world.

An election campaign started with “HOPE” and “CHANGE”, and turned into “YES WE CAN” has made Barack Obama the first black president of the United States.

If you haven’t watched Obama’s election night speech, you are making a mistake. Please stop what you are doing, take a few minutes, and watch this historical speech:

I am a foreigner living in the US. I pay my taxes in the US, my close friends are here in the US, my business life, my dreams, my goals, a lot of things in my life depends on this country. And above all, this is my home…

When I first stepped on the US soil in 1996, I was a 17 year old kid with nothing but a goal of getting a great education.

After over a decade, I’m living the American Dream. I worked so hard, I got great education, and I never stopped dreaming…

America gave me the CHANCE, and I haven’t wasted it. I have worked harder than anybody around me. I was NEVER discriminated. Nobody told me “I Can’t” just because I am a foreigner. In fact, I only got more support after my success.

Especially after the financial crisis, American people were starting to lose their hope. Everybody was getting more clueless about the future. American Dream, as we all know, was becoming more of a dream than the real success stories.

American Dream is ALIVE. YES WE CAN

I’m writing this blog post to tell you that; “If I can do it, YOU can, too”, in fact “YES WE CAN”… If a 17 year old kid, who’s started in a different country by mowing lawn at high school to be able to make a few dollars, spoke a different language CAN do it, YOU can, too.

If you are a foreigner or an immigrant who is blaming the system because of your failures, stop and think again. Do not make EXCUSES for your laziness.

If you are an American and losing your hope, stop and think again. Think about all the OPPORTUNITIES you’ve given and you have wasted along the time.

It’s never too late. Let the Obama’s victory be your guide to a new dream, and start working hard TODAY…

A Better World for Our Kids, with more HOPE

I hope we will be able to leave a better world to our kids. A greener world, less wars, more conversation, higher wealth, no poverty, and above all, more HOPE…

I have seen, installed, and used so many facebook applications.  Who Has The Biggest Brain is the best Facebook Application I’ve ever seen.

This addictive facebook game by PlayFish has around 2 million installs and growing.  I try to keep myself away from online games since they can become addictive.  But, honestly Who Has the Biggest Brain has caught me off guard.

Why is “Who Has the Biggest Brain” addictive?

This game has 4 mini games, 1 minute each, to test your brain’s size.  The mini game can be a jigsaw puzzle, or cube counting, or a basic math game.  When you finish all 4 mini games, your score is the size of your brain.  Then it shows your ranking among your friends.  You can also see your ranking in your networks (e.g. new york), and in the world.

Even though this is not an IQ Test, you feel the desire to be the smartest among your friends, and the JEALOUSY comes in to the equation.  Your ambitions and desire to be the smartest among your friends keep you play more, more and more.

Perfect Monetization with In-Game Advertising

“Who has the biggest brain” also has an excellent monetization with in-game advertising which many facebook games lack to do.  You are not bothered with ads during the game.  At the end of the game Google Adsense comes up with an image, text or video ads, and a few seconds later OK button shows up.  It is hard to explain but, Adsense is extremely well blended.  It is the best Adsense integration I’ve seen within a flash game.  Playfish blog also has a post about the in-game advertising.

The creators of “Who has the biggest brain” Playfish already launched two more Facebook Games; Word Challenge, and Bowling Buddies.  Since my brain size is big enough , it’s time for me to checkout the other two new games.
